KATHERINE PIERCE: Semi-holding pattern? There's that one plot that still has to go down so that's her coming up, getting locked in a cage and then screwing some folks over and escaping. THE KATHERINE PIERCE EXPERIENCE.

Also clashing with Sean Cassidy because she stole some stuff from him, it is DELIGHTFUL, must have steal more things from more people and generally... clash.

After plot come up with some machinations for her to do, and just generally... keep on Katherine-ing on? Sort of the light state since there's so much on for the other two, idk. Ideas always welcome.

ELLIE: basically Left Behind is magic everything is magic ANYWAY clearly the most important takeaway is that Ellie will use the expression "can suck my dick." (No there's the other thing.)

So Riley went and showed up in Darrow all not bitten and not dead, which is a Big Deal, like we're talking Case Zero in Ellie's survivor's guilt. There's a bunch of other folks who died along the way but Riley is The First and most important and all and also her best friend and stuff. So MANY EMOTIONS there will be much to do with this. So what's the first thing she does with her newly alive super important person? haha she fucking lies to her about what happened SYMMETRIES BRING ME JOY. So yeah, she's not letting on that Riley died and that she's immune to cordyceps or any of that jazz because that means having to deal with what all that means, and she has no idea how to process any of this or how to treat Riley so this will be an ONGOING SITUATION.

and then eventually it'll all come out in a storm of drama likely

ANYWAY. On the less fractious fronts, she's gonna start working on getting legally emancipated so she can get her own place without having to squat or anything. Like, I get why other folks her age are just NOPE about the group home thing but it sort of works for me since she was in the military prep and it just serves as a place to be, she just views it as where she sleeps and gets food, basically. But she doesn't like it and will be getting out of there~ Eventually. She'll have to behave in school and such I figure for the emancipation petition or whatevs to go through.

Also have to figure out her birthday! Timeline wise it makes sense for it to be summer - she's 13 in American Dreams, which occurs a bit before the main plot in which she's 14, and no birthday is mentioned in the main game (which might have skipped it, but it makes sense when you add the comic in to the equation), and summer is the season we don't really see in the game. So technically she's 15 already - enough time has passed in the city that chronologically a year has passed for her since her last birthday - but the actual day is when I'll mark her as 15 I guess. TIME TRAVEL YOU ARE INCONVENIENT.

SPOILER CHAT, highlight if you don't mind Left Behind spoilers: [so hilariously the one time I'd figured on a character being straight turns out NOT SO MUCH. It was kind of hilarious, I was playing the DLC all '...am I reading too much into this? I'm probably reading too much into this, but this all seems a little more than friends' but then it turns out all those vibes WERE intentional what with the kissing and all, so Ellie likes girls, that's a thing. Well, Riley at least. SIGNIFICANT CHARACTER. So she's either gay or bi, technical term for current state is '14/15 and doesn't know what the eff,' so there's room for confusion and drama. But nonetheless. That's a thing!]



JESSICA DREW / SPIDER-WOMAN (for now): I'M A MONSTER. maybe those were the wrong gifs to use for monstering. ANYWAY she met Olive as herself and didn't remember her and everything is pain and sorrow forever and always why do I do these things

I mean it's probably one of the best Jess threads I've done! Because emotions! SO MANY. Anyway that particular emotional crisis is... ongoing, it's a situation, there will be probably be further emotions until such time as she remembers things but that is a while off. See earlier comment re: monster.

Anyway it's kind of funny, I did the post with the civilian/Spider-Woman option and everyone tagged Spider-Woman. Now on consideration I did stack the odds that way, the breaking in was way more interesting than loitering around, so to be expected. But still it kind of works in with what I'm doing with powered Jess, the idea that she doesn't have normal stuff, the Spider-Woman stuff is all.

And it's good stuff! Her City Hall thing being an obvious bust, next up I'll invent someone for her to get scrappy with in a post, and work on inventing a scientific conspirary/sinister bunch of unethical dudes for her to bust, since that's her specific area of interest~

Also she should run into Torchwood and be hella suspicious since wut r u doing with that vampire and such.

Looking forward to her running into more powered folks/continuing the ones she knows since she gets mad excited about people with powers using 'em for good~ (it may be some of that is her diggin' on Bombshell in particular TIME WILL TELL but the point stands) She will, like in canon, start assemblin' a team of folks. We'll see who! I think a large group is unwieldy and there's enough superfolks that there can be several groups, so. Hers will be Darrow Ultimates, I got my eye on a couple of characters for her to Nick Fury Jr at, WE'LL SEE.

WHICH YES MILES good, Miles is here, she will kick his ass into being Spider-Man if she's got to. He is living with her so she has moved into the spare room with her string-and-documents conspiracy wall. I like it because with the string (I've decided it's red) it is kind of like living in a WEB HA HA GET IT I am not a subtle man. EXCITED FOR SPIDER-ROOMIES. Also she's going to get a job now (maybe two? haven't decided) because she thinks Miles deserves to have more than basics and stuff~ Still figuring out what it'll be. EITHER pizza delivery because it amuses me. Or bicycle courier, she could use it to infiltrate places like DARKLabs idk. OR working at the university library, shades of life she'll never have, she'd run into folks there.

DECISION ONGOING. Maybe all of them at some point, she'll get fired for being late because this is a thing that happens to spider-people. But which first? I do not know! One of the jobs should have a funny hat. Not frog hat but equivalent to frog hat.
